 I've done some wrecks in Florida, last year I enjoyed some great drift
diving in Cozumel and as I live in Las Vegas, NV. there is always Lake
Mead. 

None.  The boat captains & divemasters empahsized safety, but made it
clear that decisions regarding the dive were the diver's own.  

There is a good variety of both fish & coral colors/shapes to shoot.  

Overall Rating

I stayed at Captain Don's Habitat.  He is truly a unique character!  His
slide show presentation is not to be missed.  The resort is wonderful for
and to divers.  We were a large group (40+) and they handled all of our
requests with ease and professionalism, even getting a babysitter for one
couple that had brought a 2 year old along.  My room was the most
inexpensive they offered, a Superior Villa room, it is a terrific room. 
The view from my upstairs window was beautiful.  The little refrigerator
was a nice surprise.  It would have been nice to have a small microwave for
heating items, but I got by OK.  There are no TV or phones in these rooms. 
I wasn't there to watch TV so I really didn't care about that.  Some of the
larger Villa rooms had TV and I'm told the cottages had TV & phone if
that's your thing.

About the dive operation; there were always a variety of tank sizes
filled, just sign one out & go shore diving.  And the dive operation
staff, from the dive shop to the rental desk to the boat staff, was always
helpful & willing to answer any questions.  The diving was wonderful,
boat dives and all the shore diving one could handle.  Even on the boats
you dive your own profile.  Water temps were ideal and visibility was
great!  Habitat has a roving photographer taking photos both above &
under water.  On Thursday evenings there is a slide show and the week's
slides are displayed.

The dive sites are all good; it's hard to choose a favorite.  1000 steps
was excellent with a wide variety of fish life, Lenora's Reef had a lot of
good color and the Habitat House Reef, La Machaca was a great dive too; saw
Sea Horses there more than once.  I think it was at Jeff Davis Memorial
site that we saw a HUGE eel out swimming.  He was a good 5 feet long with
quite a thick body and just swimming along.  I tried to get a picture of
him, but he managed to stay just out of range of my camera.  DARN!  I did
get a lot of good photos though.  I used my digital with an Ikelite housing
so film and developing were not a consideration.

The restaurant is good too.  Although a wider selection for lunch and
dinner would have been nice, everything I had was very good.  Monday
evening there is a great Bar-B-Q done buffet style.  And there are many
wonderful restaurants around the island too.  One evening part of our group
went to Richards (any cab driver can get you there).  Seaside dining at
sunset and truly excellent food.  Yes, one could gain weight in Bonaire if
not for the exercise from the diving.  :-)
